About me
I qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2009, and I began practising independently in 2015.
I have over 15 years of experience working in mental health services, and in particular with children, young people and families in NHS CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services).
I have extensive knowledge and skills in working with a range of complex difficulties, such as low mood, anxiety, trauma, problems with relationships and difficult to manage emotions.

I utilise an individualised, integrative approach in my therapeutic work. I draw on models including systemic, narrative, cognitive-behavioural (CBT; in particular Metacognitive Therapy) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

I am employed part time as a lecturer on an Applied Clinical Psychology MSc programme. I also contribute as an examiner to a local Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)and the British Psychological Society as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist. I have appropriate professional liability insurance.
